Applications are invited for two three-year, full time postgraduate research studentships in the School of Health and Social Care at the University of Greenwich. Candidates will have a background in social science and/or the health and social care professions (nursing, midwifery, public health, or social work). The topics are open and we would be happy to consider how you can develop your ideas in the context of our strengths in social science applied to health and social care. A few of the areas in which we are particularly interested include patients' experiences and outcomes of care; substance use; mental health; offender health; family support; and parenthood. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake taught courses in qualitative and quantitative research methods and key research skills if required. Students may be asked to undertake some teaching activities of up to three hours a week and are expected to contribute to the life and research culture of the School.
A Masters degree or a First or Upper Second Honours Degree is required.
