The successful candidate’s principal purpose will be to manage GSK’s finished goods warehouse & distribution operations with respect to receiving, storage and dispatch processes and procedures.
He/She will in addition coordinate warehouse and distribution operations with other internal operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Managing inventory for all finished goods warehouses
- Distribution of Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare products within Eastern Africa
- Selection and Management of Contracted Logistics Service providers within Service Level Agreements.
- Ensure cycle counts are conducted as per programme, stock reconciliations and updates are done and inventory accuracy targets are met.
- Maintain the warehouse as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure warehouse equipments, cold room and other facilities are maintained as per schedule.
- Enforce compliance of warehouse and distribution activities within GSK Quality Management Systems (QMS) and facilitate related audits.
- Provide leadership to the Warehouse and Distribution team.
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- University Graduate
- Knowledge in warehouse management principles
- Working knowledge of ERP systems. Knowledge of JDE would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work with a flexible and tight work schedule
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent Analytical and Leadership skills.
