Reporting to the Head of Department - Employee Service Centre, the job holder will have specific accountability for employee relations and wellness within the Organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop employee relations policies and procedures and ensures consistent application;
- Manage the administration of all discipline/grievance issues as per discipline /grievance policies procedure and documents;
- Facilitate building of managerial capability on employee relations and coaches managers to handle disciplinary issues through facilitation of Training programs;
- Liaising with COTU, FKE and Ministry of Labour on all issues relating to Employment laws and Practice;
- Ensure compliance to labor and government regulations relating to staff issues;
- Liaising with legal section and company lawyers on all legal issues relating to staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience in human resource management functions, specifically in labor and employee relations;
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent;
- A depth of experience in labour laws and labour and industrial management;
- Be a seasoned HR practitioner with strong personal credibility gained through a track record of high integrity and ability to deliver;
- Team leader and team player with excellent Interpersonal skills;
- Mature orientation;
- Respect for confidentiality;
- Excellent communication skills with exception interpersonal, organisation and report writing skills.
