Our client, a Company in Nairobi that deals with design, supply and installation of fire protection equipment wishes to recruit a self motivated, dynamic and hardworking individual to work as a Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:-

- Actively hunt and identify potential customers, which will include contractors, engineers etc
- Develop strategic relationship with the above with the aim of penetrating and pursuing business opportunities
- Making sure we participate in all fire protection project tenders by quotations
- Follow up projects with contractors to ensure that our products are eventually supplied
- Evaluating and analyzing product trend against competition and advising management on areas of improvement and response.
- Identify areas and opportunities for market expansion and recommendation of new products required to tap the market
- Promotes the organization’s product portfolio and continually sells them to both new & existing clients
- Keeps abreast and informs organization of market dynamics and customer needs
- Preparing proposals and quotations for clients
- Ensure provision of after sale services to customers
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Adequate knowledge in product development
- Results oriented with a good record in electronics Engineering
- An experienced marketer well versed in the industry.
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
