Scope of the job
The holder of this will report to the Finance Director
He or She will manage the supply chain function for Corn Products (K) Ltd and will be responsible for:
- Raw Materials, Mechanical stores and Finished product Warehousing
- Finished Product distribution Logistics
- Inbound logistics for raw materials, traded products and other items
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic alignment of Supply Chain annual objectives and plans to those of the business;
- Close liaison with Procurement and Production as well as Marketing & Sales will be critical.
- Identifying and championing initiatives to optimize cost and service levels
- Managing interfaces with key business stakeholders in the internal and external Supply Chain;
- Meeting customer’s needs and expectations through preferred delivery timeliness.
- Driving collaborative workings on forecasting with all departments to ensure logical and efficient flows with respect to timing, quantities, and alternatives.
- Applying World Class techniques for inventory management.
- Setting material handling budgets and preparation of monthly expenses analysis.
- Facilitating competence development in liaison with the Human Resource Department.
- Any other relevant Responsibility or duties as may be delegated by the Finance Director
Qualification
- Degree in a Business related field
- Excellent hands on Computer skills.
Experience
- Minimum experience: 5 years relevant experience
- Sound business knowledge
