Key Duties and Responsibilities will include
- Create and implement strategic and tactical Sales and Marketing plans aligned with the company’s overarching strategy and assist in the Budgeting and Business planning responsibilities of the Sales department.
- Establish a customer oriented culture among all staff in the company, through training, incentives and redesigning business processes.
- To take ownership of key accounts and ensure all revenue and business opportunities with them are maximized.
- Continuously prospect for new business and ensure achievement of maximum capacity
- Develop marketing activities to ensure awareness of the company among all target groups.
- Maintaining and developing knowledge of our competitors, their product, rates and promotions to ensure we uphold our competitive advantage in the market place.
- Actively promoting the company through networking and PR opportunities
Requirements / Qualifications
- A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or other business related field from a reputable university; a Sales and Marketing qualification is an advantage
- At least 3 years experience in a busy Marketing department; experience in a FMCG or Hospitality Industries is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills and a high degree of computer literacy
- Well developed trouble shooting skills; ability to quickly understand problems and come up with productive solutions
- Excellent people skills and networking ability; demonstrable ability to network within the NGO and Public Sectors is an advantage
- Knowledge of current and cutting edge Sales, Marketing and P.R. operations.
- 30 – 35 years of age
