  1. Position: Segment/Sector Manager

Reports To: Head of Corporate Sales

Role Purpose

The Segment Manager will Lead, Develop, Organize, Manage and Coordinate a Corporate Segment and as directed, Control the Segment assets and Processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Sales targets and profitability

Achieve Sales and revenue targets. Prospect and sell to corporate clients, process sales. Promote usage by corporate clients, expressed in terms of Corporate revenues

Account Management – Retention(Brand Management)

Build & maintain corporate accounts in terms of quality of service, uptake of other products and services, payments, revenue growth, provision of advisory services, delivery issues, post-paid end to end process, follow up systems and ensure compliance to post paid agreement requirements therefore building brand loyalty

Routines and Processes

Ensure internal collaboration ,team work development and implementation of key Management and Corporate sales routines within the team

People management

To effectively manage staff including all the resources allocated to the segment through effective monitoring of performance and ensuring full individual potential is attained through coaching, Mentoring and training

Development of Corporate sales programs

Co-Prepare, plan and execute the segments Corporate strategy/programs aimed at acquisitions and Revenue growth e.g. Corporate Partnerships, trade fairs etc.

Education Background:

    • Degree in a Business related field
    • Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage

Experience:

    • 5 to 7 years hands on experience in a Sales /corporate account management position in a Service or FMCG industry, of which 1 year must have been in a Managerial/Team leadership position.
    • Intermediate knowledge of business finance principles.
    • Computer literate.
    • Customer Care experience


  1. Position: Corporate Account Manager

Reports To: Segment Manager

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for both individual and Corporate Accounts acquisition and Revenue generation by closing sales.
  • Sells products and services directly to the company’s larger customers primarily via face-to-face contact.
  • Develops strong relationships with these accounts ensuring sensitivity to the customer’s needs, concerns, and emerging requirements.
  • Often responsible for more complex and difficult to close sales.
  • Assists management in devising direct sales plans and strategies.
  • Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment.

  • Grow Sales within the Area by developing innovative ways of increasing/growing sales at the Point of Purchase; Value added services and connections by ensuring availability of the company products at all times within the area of Accountability.
