Our Client, a leading Business Process Outsourcing company is looking for an Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Project Management
- Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities.
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project.
- Reviewing deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applying client methodology and enforcing project standards.
- Preparing for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimizing client exposure and risk on project.
- Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
2. Project Accounting
- Tracking and reporting team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
- Managing project budget.
- Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivables for project.
- Following up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
- Analyzing project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Competencies
1. Financial Management
- Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
- Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
2. Business Development
- Identifies business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
- Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments.
3. Technical Understanding
- Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
- Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
4. Education
- Degree/ diploma in a business related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
