Today, we are the leading manufacturer and distributor of Wines and Spirits in Kenya and in the Region. We offer a full portfolio of beverages including Wines, Spirits and Ready-to-Drink products.

We also partner with leading distillery Companies of international repute to import
and distribute premium Wines and Spirits in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, parts of Democratic Republic of Congo and Southern Sudan.

As a result of ongoing expansion in line with our vision to be the preferred manufacturer and distributor of Wines and Spirits in Eastern and Central Africa and beyond, the following positions are currently available.

Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-
  • Preparation, planning and executing Area Sales Distribution and Market Coverage Programs.
  • Effective implementation of the distribution strategy.
  • Ensuring that outlets are branded according to Company Standards.
  • Implementing management routines in the area, these include daily sales reports, customer lists, route coverage etc.
  • Planning budgets for the assigned area.
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales against the approved budget
  • Monitoring and reporting on market developments.
  • Sales promotions and merchandising to achieve maximum product availability, visibility and awareness at area levels.
  • Managing a team of sales force (Sales Representatives) to ensure achievement of set targets at territory levels.
  • Managing Credit control function for the Sales Region as per Company policy and collection of Sales debts.
  • Managing customer care in line with Company business strategy.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • A Holder of a Business Degree from a recognised University.
  • Computer literate.
  • An MBA in marketing will be an added advantage.
  • A high degree of strategic and commercial aptitude as well as excellent communication skills
  • At least 5 years experience in managing a sales team in an FMCG Organization.
  • Good planner, organizer and effective decision maker.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence
  • Above 25 years old.
Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Company Secretary/Legal Officer, the Security Officer will provide strategic leadership and motivation to the Security team.

His/Her responsibilities will be:-
  • Supervising security operations and managing third party security service providers.
  • Close liaison with other External security Authorities to ensure that all the legal and security requirements are met.
  • Identifying areas of security concern to be included in the Company’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • To head investigations and other breaches of security and also liaising with authorities for appropriate action.
  • Undertake continuous security risk assessments on all Company property and operations and advise management, recommending necessary corrective/preventive action.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Criminology is desirable.
  • Proven knowledge in crime and fraud detection.
  • Knowledge in forensic audit will be an added advantage
  • Proven practical knowledge and experience in security matters administration.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in security management or law enforcement within the disciplined forces.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills, ability to work odd and irregular hours, good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Clean valid driver’s license.
  • Above 30 years
Payables Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-
  • Maintaining the Company Local and Foreign Accounts payables master files.
  • Updating the payable accounts on the receipt of properly approved invoices and processing invoices for payments on the due dates.
  • Ensuring that all settlements are done after proper reconciliation between the supplier and Company.
  • Reconciling the suppliers’ accounts (the subsidiary ledger) to the general ledger and resolving the reconciling items regularly.
  • Maintaining the withholding tax system with the stipulated appended procedures.
  • Keeping a record of all credit notes generated in the suppliers’ accounts with regard to VAT.
  • Generating withholding tax certificates alongside supplier payment cheques and maintaining the register accordingly.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Conversant with International Accounting Standards, knowledge of Company and Business Law.
  • 2 years experience in a similar position is desirable.
  • A team player, good communicator, of high integrity and self discipline, analytical thinker, creative and innovative.
  • At least 25 years old.
Accountants
2 Positions (Rwanda and Uganda)

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Subsidiary and Reporting Accountant based at the Head Office in Nairobi, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-
  • Carrying out bookkeeping activities for all financial transactions of Country operations.
  • Carrying out daily banking reconciliation.
  • Maintaining a detailed fixed asset register.
  • Maintaining proper VAT records and filing VAT returns as per country laws.
  • Preparing regular payments to the Suppliers.
  • Maintaining the petty cash book and administering the petty cash floats.
  • Carrying out system administration duties in Pastel such as unit cost input, price input, and stock take in the system etc.
  • Assisting in logistics issues such as customs clearance and documentation.
  • Carrying out regular stock takes at the Warehouse and other Sales Centres.
  • Consolidating the annual budget for the Country Office in liaison with the Country Representative.
  • Filing monthly management accounts and other relevant reports to the head office as may be required from time to time.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or ACCA.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Conversant with International Accounting Standards, knowledge of Company and Business Law.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar position.
  • A team player, good communicator, of high integrity and self discipline, analytical thinker, creative and innovative.
  • Above 25 years old.
