Branch Manager

Key Responsibility:
  • Reporting to the Head of Retail, the Branch Manager will be responsible for the business growth, service delivery and administration and efficient day to day operation of the branch.
Main tasks:
  • To build business relations and grow the deposit portfolio
  • To provide a superior level of customer relations to promote sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation
  • To provide leadership, training and supervision and delegate day to day operations to the branch personnel
  • Responsible for attaining established Bank and branch goals through active participation in sales management
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • Business degree, ACIB/AKIB or an equivalent business qualification
  • Proven branch management experience (at least 5 years) in delivering retail banking and business relationship with a medium to large size bank
  • Knowledge of local business environment is important with strong credit analysis and communication team working skills.
SME Relationship Manager

Key Responsibility:
  • Reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking, you will be responsible for maximizing and growing sustainable economic profit derived from a portfolio of SME customers through effective business development.
Main tasks:
  • To provide a full range of SME Banking products and services including other SME offerings such as lending and financial advisory services
  • To initiate, develop and retain client relationships, while contributing actively to the business development goals of the team
  • To identify opportunities and threats in order to position a product, business or function for the overall competitive advantage of the Bank within the stipulated service level agreements
  • To work towards achieving stretched bank targets for SME banking products and services to existing and potential clients in the Bank’s chosen markets through provision of high quality service.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • Business degree, ACIB/AKIB or an equivalent business qualification
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in delivering SME banking business relationship with a medium to large size bank
  • Knowledge of local business environment and experience in cross selling and relationship marketing
  • Strong credit analysis, communication skills and team working capabilities
Corporate Relationship Officer

Key Responsibility:
  • Reporting to a Corporate Relationship Manager (CRM), this position will assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with corporate and potential customers while rendering quality service to attain growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Main Tasks:
  • To assist the CRM develop and manage corporate customer relationships within an assigned portfolio
  • To process credit applications for facilities including analysis of financial statements, industry trends , risks and make recommendations
  • To prepare reports on existing facilities for revision, renewal and approval including call reports made to existing and prospective corporate accounts on utilization of limits and account conduct
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • Degree in a business related field with accounting qualifications
  • Ability to research and analyze financial statements with requisite skills in computer usage.
  • Ability to relate and communicate effectively with customers
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation & follow-up skills
