The purpose of this job is to add value to management through provision of timely reports and key analyses of relevant information.
This role supports through collating of planning assumptions, modelling of plans to assist decision making as well as analysis of business performance information to the following functions: Customer Service, Sales, and Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities in this role include:
- Assembling and analysing business ERP data as well as macro, industry and market specific data into information, and avail to management in a timely fashion for strategic, tactical and operational requirements.
- Timely generation & submission of sales & volumes performance reports including the daily sales report, monthly performance dashboard, etc
- Driving sales planning through the budgeting and forecasting processes especially the sales monthly rolling forecasts.
- Provision of support for sales and distribution to enhance efficiency in transaction processing and drive appropriate system changes.
- Supporting management in computation & timely processing of customer discounts, credit notes and returns
- Tracking and maintaining up-to-date revenue cycle process flows and controls as well as documenting the same in the risk management tool
- Ensuring periodic generation and review of exception reports and implementation of other internal control actions for management control purposes.
- Supporting the sales function in credit risk management through an enhanced appraisal and monitoring process
- Provision of support in modelling of commercial projects such as financial appraisals of investment projects, new product launches to drive key decisions as well as other improvement initiatives within the commercial function
- Supporting through collating of planning assumptions, modelling of plans to assist decision making as well as analysis of business performance information to the following functions: Customer Service, Sales, and Internal Audit
- Providing functional support for continuous business process reviews, risk identification and control design as well as compliance monitoring through exception reports
- Providing support to information systems in alignment of ERP to evolving business processes as reviewed especially the sales and distribution module
Minimum Requirements
The incumbent must possess the following minimum qualifications and competencies:

- A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Commerce or Finance with either full or part qualified in additional certification such as ACCA, CPA, etc.
- 3 years work experience in a busy and professional environment
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Excellent understanding and application of management information systems with working experience with ERPs (Enterprise Resource Applications) e.g. JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and specifically spreadsheet design; PowerPoint as well as strong presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, dynamic, self-driven with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to “think on your feet”
- Ability to work and communicate in a culturally diverse environment
