Nampak Kenya is the leading Metal Packaging manufacturing company in East Africa. We are looking for result oriented individuals to fill the following positions

MAINTENANCE PLANNER (1 position)

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer the successful candidates will be responsible for the following;

Key tasks

• Ensuring all statutory inspections on machines and equipment are carried out.
• Updating maintenance schedules of all critical equipment.
• Booking all Maintainace work orders in the assets care software.
• Assist in attending to break downs.
• Flagging up maintenance back logs

Essential Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 experience in a manufacturing enterprise.
• Knowledge of AutoCad

QUALITY INSPECTOR (1 position)

Reporting to the Quality assurance manager the successful candidates will be responsible for the following;

• Inspecting quality of raw materials and finished goods.
• Reporting on non- conformity of product's standards.
• Carrying out statistical process control study as required.
• Ensuring safe disposal of non-conforming products.
• Filing and maintaining accurate records on product quality.
• Supervising sorters in the department.

Essential Qualifications

• A diploma in quality controls
• At least 3 years experience in quality controls and/or assurance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and HACCP standards and procedures
• Experience in food packaging industry is an added advantage
