Position 1: SYSTEMS PLANNING ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Planning and design of Core and intelligent platforms
• Network Quality and Performance Optimisation.
• Transmission Planning and Optimisation.
• Network Capacity Monitoring and Reporting
• Planning of Network Disaster Recovery.
Requirements:
• A bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering.
• One Year working experience in telecommunication or related industry.
Position 2: RADIO & TRANSMISSION PLANNING ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Site Surveys & Design
• Site Acquisition
• RF Planning and Optimisation
• Transmission Planning and Design
• Network Detailed Planning - Frequency and BSS Parameter Planning.
Requirements:
• A bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering
• One Year working experience in telecommunication or related industry
Position 3 : OPTIMISATION ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Network Quality and Performance Optimisation.
• Network Inventory Management
• Network Statistics and Reporting
• Network Applications Development
• Network Dashboard Update
Requirements:
• A bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
• One Year working experience in telecommunication or related industry
Position 4: INFORMATION AND NETWORK SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities:
• Define security frameworks for existing and new system
• System security planning developing, and implementation security policies across multiple platforms
• Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the defined standards.
• Ensure compliance of IT Security Policies
• Planning of Network Disaster Recovery.
• Provide support and management and security architect standards and
Documentations.
• Manage and support networking and security services in LAN,WAN and internet network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and consultation for enhancement of change to network security configuration.
• To provide fault resolution and Escalation.
• To conduct external and internal attack
• To conduct active penetration tests, discover vulnerabilities in information system
• Define processes to manage the network and information security.
• To advise on solution of the security weaknesses of network and system.
• To identify the nature of information that malicious attacker may be able to access.
• To enforce utilization of data encryption methods
• To Respond promptly to reported security violations received from end users /systems administrator and from other MTN Rwanda business partners
• To document and update security incident tracking system and communicate case status and findings .
• To Identify and notify users of venerable computers when necessary.
• To work with Information systems ( in house computing team) in developing tools and procedures to monitor internal and public networks for suspicious activity.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Two years in Security administration on LAN/WAN and applications.
