CMC Aviation Limited, a leading aviation Company invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions, Only applications that meet the minimum qualifications will be considered:

1. DIRECTOR OF SAFETY

The Director of Safety is responsible to ensure that appropriate standards are established and maintained to provide the utmost safety for CMC Aviation Flight Operations. This position reports to the Managing Director.

The Director will develop, coordinate and implement a comprehensive safety management system.

The Director's responsibilities will include:-

• Identifying and monitoring flight safety activities which may have an impact on flight safety.
• Making recommendations to senior management on matters pertaining flight safety.
• Developing and maintaining a safety awareness program.
• Overseeing the reporting system and flight safety incident database.
• Maintaining and evaluating the proper functioning of flight safety programs such as Safety Audits and Surveys.

Qualifications and experience required:-

• He/ She must be a technically qualified person in the field of aircraft maintenance or flight operations.
• He/ She must have attended a comprehensive aviation safety management system course recognized by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
• He/ She must have at least five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience within Flight Operations or Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering.
• He / She must have an understanding of Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations (KCARS) relating to safety standards.

2. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS A&C AND AVIONICS (DHC-8)

Qualifications and experience:-

The successful candidate must have:

• Initial DHC-8 (100or 300) type rating
• PW120 or 123 Line/ heavy maintenance training
• At least 5 years DHC-8 experience of which 1 year must be as an inspector for DHC-8 aircraft
• Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Basic A&C license
• Other aircraft type experience would be an added advantage

3. CAPTAINS (DHC-8)

Qualifications and experience:-

• Must have a valid ATPL
• Must have current instrument rating.
• Must have gas turbine engines experience
• Must have 4000 hours total time
• Must have 500 hours on type
• Must have a valid type rating on the above aircraft type

4. FIRST OFFICERS (DHC-8)

Qualifications and experience:-

• Must have a valid CPL
• Must have current instrument rating.
• Must have gas turbine engines experience
• Must have 200 hours on type
• Must have a valid type rating on the above aircraft type
