Our client, a subsidiary of a large global company and a market leader in the services sector, wishes to recruit a Communications Manager.
The Communications Manager's main responsibilities will be to:
- Establish and maintain relationships with media and stakeholders and proactively target relevant media to ensure positive publicity of the company;
- Plan and implement informational programs to enhance the company brand & image and to maintain favorable perceptions/reputation of the company accomplishments and agenda;
- Drive the internal company communication program to achieve corporate objectives;
- Design, plan and implement public relations campaigns that portray the organization's identity, name and reputation;
- Handle the quarterly production and circulation/coordination of internal magazine and represent the company in various forums;
- Facilitate market and competitor intelligence.
- Bachelor of Commerce with a bias in Marketing;
- 3 to 4 years' experience as a PR/Communication Manager with proven record of excellent media relations;
- Strategic and creative thinker with excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to work independently;
- Proactive, self-motivated, resourceful team players with strong interpersonal relationships and attention to detail;
- Strong commercial intellect, time/project management skills & proficiency in MS Dice.
