Assistant Factory Accountant
Reporting to the Factory Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for-
Assistant Factory Accountant
Reporting to the Factory Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for-
- Preparing monthly financial and management reports;
- Preparing timely and accurate reports;
- Participating in and ensuring sound management of stores;
- Ensuring maintenance of proper books of accounts;
- Preparing the staff payroll;
- Assisting in the management of bank accounts and tea cess accounts;
- Participating in stock taking.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- A first degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce from a reputable university and CPA part II;
- Non degree holders with CPA (K) qualifications may also be considered;
- Working experience of not less than two (2) years;
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages and knowledge of accounting packages;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Factory Mechanic
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

- Supervision of all mechanical maintenance staff within the factory;
- Trouble shooting of machinery and equipment faults;
- Safe custody of workshop tools and equipment;
- Preparation of daily, weekly and annual maintenance schedules;
- Ensuring quality spares of correct specification are procured at the right time;
- Fabrication and repairs of various parts of machines;
- Preparing of equipment such as pressure vessels and lifting equipment for statutory inspection;
- Preparing accurate reports on the performance of machinery and equipment.
- Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- KCSE grade C plain;
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (plant option) from a recognized institution;
- Relevant working experience of not less than three (3) years preferably in a manufacturing environment;
- Computer literate.
Factory Supervisor
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

- Supervising staff and coordinating processes in the production line;
- Maintaining accurate production records;
- Ensuring that production of tea is carried out within the set quality standards;
- Monitoring and ensuring achievement of set production targets;
- Reporting malfunction on production equipment;
- Ensuring maintenance of hygiene standards in the production floor;
- Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- KCSE grade C plain;
- Diploma in Food Science from a recognized institution;
- Relevant working experience of not less than two (2) years preferably in a manufacturing environment;
- Computer literate.
Store Keeper
Reporting to the Assistant Factory Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for-

- Making requisitions for stock items as required;
- Receiving and verifying deliveries of materials/goods against documentation and issuing the same as per approved procedures;
- Controlling stocks as per approved policies and procedures;
- Ensuring safe custody of stocks and monitoring consumption and levels of the stocks;
- Carrying out regular stock take as required;
- Monitoring stock levels in order to initiate procurement process;
- Preparing timely and accurate reports.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- KCSE grade C plain;
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies from a recognized institution;
- Relevant working experience of not less two (2) years;
- Computer literate.
Artisan -Electrical
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

- Carrying out trouble shooting and rectifying electrical
- Rewinding of motors and other electrical equipment;
- Maintaining electrical equipment within the set quality standards;
- Ensuring sound maintenance and operation of standby generator;
- Verifying electrical spare parts received in the stores;
- Implementing preventive maintenance program as per approved procedures;
- Preparing accurate reports on the performance of production equipment;
- Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- KCSE grade C plain;
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (power option) from a recognized institution;
- Relevant working experience of not less three (3) years;
- Computer literate
Boiler Operator
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible fon-

- Operating the steam system equipment as per approved procedures;
- Reporting malfunction of boilers;
- Carrying out boiler water treatment as per necessary;
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance for the boilers as per procedures;
- Ensuring that the boilers are safe for use at all times;
- Recording and keeping boiler operations and maintenance data;
- Ensuring that the factory maximizes on the use of firewood boiler;
- Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- KCSE grade C plain;
- Certificate in boiler operation;
- Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;
- Relevant working experience of not less three (3) years in boiler operations;
- Computer literate
