HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER



Our client is a diversified Group with interests in FMCG, food production and engineering.

The HR Manager will be responsible to develop and implement strategic plans which enhance HR practices (systematically operationally) to ensure that all HR modules are aligned with the company overall strategic plans.

The preference is for a Sudanese national who has had extensive international experience.  Alternatively, an expatriate who is fluent in Arabic.

Key accountabilities:

Compensations and Benefits: Implement a fully automated payroll system to ensure that all staffs are compensated fairly, timely, and with high consistency. Be able to construct Comp &Ben system as to support company workforce plans and strategic plans, which use as an attraction method and tool of competitiveness.
Employees Services/ Relations: Maintain employee services practices as to promote good welfare of each staff member and ensure a fair system of grievances/ complains in accordance with the Sudanese labor laws and company policies.
Recruitment & Selection: Introduce and communicate company overall recruitment policy and ensure full adherence to it.  Regulate the process of hiring and talent finding through selecting the right candidates at the right time.
Policies & Procedures: Develop and communicate company’s policies and procedures, act as company’s focal point regarding introduction, updating, communicating, following, and mentoring of company system of polices and procedures in order to ensure compliance with the labor laws regulations.
Strategy Formulation: Assist the HR & Admin Manager in formulating and designing company HR strategy that includes company’s principle and vision in staff well-fare and performance reward and others to ensure a reliable HR system in place.

Budget Management: Prepare, monitor and control The annual HR Dept budget to ensure that expenditure is in line with the business plan and departmental needs.  Fully participate in company’s overall cost saving initiative.

HR Archiving and Personal Database: Manage and up-date all company staff personal records and provide reports to Management when needed as agreed to ensure creditable and consist ant information.

HR Dept Software/ Systems: Fully responsible of all payroll/ attendance/ and employee records and database to ensure automation of the HR system and procedures.

Dimensions:

  • Financial: All staff compensations/ Benefits Budget of over 1,000,000 USD +
  • Staffing: Reporting (11 staff member) direct/ indirect 5
  • Customer: providing customer service for 1000+
  • Operationally: recruitment, payroll, employee services, and bus partners range of services

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • University Degree in Management, HR or any related fields
  • Certified Recruiter

  • Strong Presentation and Facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and oral Communication skills
  • Strong Planning , Analytical, Organization skills
  • Change Management Skills
  • Building Relationships (internal and external ) to the company
  • Creativity & Innovation
  • Leadership Skills (Coaching & Mentoring & developing others )
  • 10-15 years of experience in the field of HR (Compensation & Benefits/ Employee Services/workforce planning and Recruitment).
