To support the realization of Vision 2030 energy objectives, GDC has set to develop steam equivalent to 4000MW in the next 20 years.
The key success factor for GDC's strategy is hinged on the drilling of geothermal wells.
To achieve these objectives, we are seeking to engage experienced staff for our Drilling Operations.
The ideal candidates will be team players, have high integrity, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and must be flexible and willing to work long hours with minimal supervision.
The candidates should have experience in oil and gas or geothermal drilling rig operations. Only certificates from recognized institutions will be accepted.

- Offer leadership and guidance of drilling operations to ensure that all wells are drilled in a safe, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner, and in accordance with the drilling programs.
- The Supervisor will also be responsible for logging of all the drilling activities and liaising with procurement officers and/or stores personnel for all the rig supplies.
The ideal candidate should have at least an O-Level certificate with over 5 years experience in the same capacity and should demonstrate good leadership skills.
Other relevant training in drilling operations will be an added advantage.

The candidate will be reporting to the Drilling Supervisor. The main purpose of this job is to drill geothermal wells using the rig in a safe and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating a drilling rig and ensuring that all wells are drilled in a safe, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner, and in accordance with the drilling programs.
- The Driller will also be responsible for all the drilling activities mainly at the rig floor and will offer leadership and guidance to the staff below him/her.
