The Team Leader for Sales and Rural Distribution is directly responsible for a sales team comprising of Community Sales Agents, and effectively leads, supports and integrates team members into a cohesive work unit to meet organisational objectives.
To this end The Team Leader will endeavour to support market penetrations in communities in the rural areas, with particular emphasis on signing up CBO’s and Women’s groups in local communities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize effective marketing and sales skills to penetrate and interest CBO’s, Women’s groups and local community to sign up for Solar IGA concept.
- Performing and maintaining accurate and current Administrative Sales procedures.
- Building strong Community Sales team by promoting cohesive work methods within the team
- Running Sales training and developing effective training curriculum and manuals
- Organizational Involvement
Qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree – Marketing and Sales Option/Business Degree – Marketing and Sales option
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in training and sales team management
- Sales and after sales support skills and experience.
- Diploma in Project Management and supplementary studies in Training and Training of Trainers (TOT) programmes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent ability to build community relationships
- Strong verbal references are required from a minimum of 3 past employers and supervisors
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- High ethical standards and transparent communication
- Easily adaptable to function in a changing, dynamic environment.
- Takes initiative in responding to tasks needing completion.
- Honest, ability to work independently and as a team leader and member.
