Business Development Manager Job in Kenya

A fast growing electrical engineering SME is seeking to fill the position of Business Development Manager

.

Job purpose:

• The individual must be experienced and able to identify and develop business opportunities
  
  for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the annual Business Development Plan and the annual Work Plan.
• Define and implement yearly targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for new businesses.
• Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
• Provide direction, guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing option) or equivalent degree.
• Proven track record of leading a company to attain or surpass its sales targets.
• At least 5 years, preferably with relevant experience in similar industry.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• A pro-active self- starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
• Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing of deals skills.
• Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with clients’ middle managers through to decision makers.
• Original or certified copy of your latest pay slip.
