A fast growing electrical engineering SME is seeking to fill the position of Business Development Manager.

- The individual must be experienced and able to identify and develop business opportunities for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the annual Business Development Plan and the annual Work Plan.
- Define and implement yearly targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for new businesses.
- Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
- Provide direction, guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing option) or equivalent degree.
- Proven track record of leading a company to attain or surpass its sales targets.
- At least 5 years, preferably with relevant experience in similar industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- A pro-active self- starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
- Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing of deals skills.
- Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with clients’ middle managers through to decision makers.
