Nairobi Jobs: Sales Administrator / Office Assistant

We're a family business in Nairobi with 12 employees, located in Hurlingham. We design and tailor clothes and are one of the top suppliers of custom-made wedding outfits in Nairobi.

We're looking for someone to work as an administrator of this busy business. This means tracking customer orders and scheduling production to ensure orders are delivered on time and as per customer requirements.

Our order management system is completely computerized. There will be additional other tasks assigned to you as well, primarily accounting paperwork related (you don't need an accounting qualification for this).

You need the following qualifications:
  • Hard working and energetic
  • Self motivated to work without supervision
  • Computer savvy
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communication skills (can talk to customers and strangers politely and confidently)
  • Calm and happy disposition (if you're moody, don't apply)
It will be an advantage if you're
  • Between 25 and 30 years old
  • Have some experience working in direct contact with customers in a sales type position
Job details
  • You will work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm (You can arrange for one free morning during the week to compensate for the Saturday)
  • Pay is between 20,000/= and 30,000/= per month depending on your experience and skills
