Account Relationship Managers, Personal Banking
Nakuru & Kisumu

Reporting to the Retail Branch Manager, the purpose of this role will be to achieve quality business growth for the Personal Banking Unit within assigned territory.

The responsibilities incorporate market and selling personal banking products to existing and potential customers.

In addition sustaining customer satisfaction, to retain existing customers and generate additional business from those customers; and acquiring new customers through prospecting and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth in business volumes (deposits and loans/advances), customers and customer accounts.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Quality management of customer expectations.
  • Credit Risk Appraisals
  • Minimisation of exposures to and impact of risks assisted with KYC, AMI and portfolio maintenance.
  • Adherence to and application of established policies, processes, procedures and tools to achieve optimal efficiency, compliance and cost containment.

This incorporates prospecting and acquiring new customers, and pursuing incremental business within the existing customers, as well as managing customer expectations to sustain the business relationship

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, Personal Banking, the purpose of this role will be to provide leadership that will enhance the Platinum Banking Product Concept and Strategy targeted towards High net worth individuals and deliver profitable business growth targets for the Bank within this market segment.

This role will incorporate defining market segment, developing strategic business plans to acquire new customers, grow the Platinum Banking book, implement new products and services, recommend relevant financial solutions, establish sales targets and to ensure the Bank sustains competitive advantage in this market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Refine and implement strategic business plans to acquire and retain the Platinum Banking customer segment.
  • Report on performance, identifying issues and opportunities in terms of revenue growth and costs.
  • Achieve the profitability targets established.
  • Expand customer relationships base; identify opportunities to cross sell the full range of the banks extensive range of products and services.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, Corporate Business and the purpose of the role will be to provide Unit leadership and grow our Public Sector, Government & Parastatal business in terms of Assets and liabilities, customer base and income through personal sales activities within existing customer portfolio and acquire new clients within this target market segment.

The role critically requires effective relationship management resulting in the optimisation of customer satisfaction, retention and wallet share through selling multiple solutions (cross-selling) from the entire range of the bank's products and services.
