Sales Coordinator

Position   :  Sales Coordinator
Reports to  : Director of Sales & Marketing
 
  • Demonstrates Fairmont Brand Service Plus Standards in all interactions
  • Provides warm service and assist guest according to FHR Brand Standards
  • Assist in qualifying leads, researching space, and entering bookings in Sales Net; and responding to client(s) either personally, or by directing to the appropriate salesperson(s)
  • Coordinate client site inspections of the property
  • Maintain current sales and promotional literature
  • Provide administrative duties as required by Sales Managers
  • Regular sales office reception coverage including Saturday office coverage
  • Assist with preparation and follow-up of sales trips
  • Co-operates, co-ordinates and communicates with all other departments to ensure highest level of Guest service is maintained and the maximum profit is generated.
  • Ensures knowledge of all facilities, services and hours of operation in order to respond confidently and effectively to inquiries.
  • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to personal Guest Service excellence and profitably through special duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to and promotes all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Promotes and practices FHR values of teamwork, mutual respect, integrity and empowerment among all co-workers.
 
Qualifications:
 
    • Must possess outstanding Sales skills, guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
  • Colleagues who have served the organization for a minimum of 1 years.
  • Team players are a definite pre-requisite.
    • Proficient in English language (Verbal and written), second language is an asset.
    • Possesses full command of Opera and other Microsoft applications (necessary training will be provided). Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite is a must.
 
 
 
 
 
 
    • Must be flexible in terms of working hours
    • 1 year experience in similar positions and customer service
    • A Hospitality diploma is an asset
    • Must be able to handle multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment while remaining calm, collective and accurate.
