Job Description
• Ensures internal controls ar.e in place.
• En~ures TMRC's operations are in compliance with local legislations and guidelines.
• Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with approved policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Performs financial management auditing to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Suggests changes to policies and procedures, if any.
• Coordinates with the Chief Risk Officer.
• Responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring and reporting of credit, liquidity market and operational risks related to the Company's operations.
•Analyses financiallGtatements and credit ~Rf.()r41lation to determine the degree of credit risk involved in extending credit (refinancing).
• Prepares reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
• Evaluates loss potential vis-a-vis frequency and severity.
• Plans, initiates and promotes measures for minimizing losses.
• Develops internal regulatory norms/standards.
• Oversees preparation of financial statements of TMRC.
• Analyses projections on TMRC's portfolio.
• Ensures mitigation measures are in place to minimize credit, market, liquidity market and operational risks.
Qualification and Experience
1. Degree in Accounting
2. Strong audit experience in banks
3. Familiar with new Accounting Standards such as IFRS/IAS etc.
4. At least 10 years' experience in banking
5. Strong background in risk management and credit analytical skills
6. Strong background in asset liability management
7. Understanding of housing finance and capital market instruments
