Management Sciences for Health (MSH) seeks to employ two drivers to' support the Strengthening Pharmaceutical Systems (SPS) program in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Management Sciences for Health is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and improving the health of the people by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health. Strengthening Pharmaceutical Systems (SPS) is a program funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and works to build capacity of developing countries to effectively manage pharmaceutical systems and ultimately save lives by improving access to quality assured medicines.
DUTIES
Drive Project staff members, consultants and other visitors on Project business. Ensure cleanliness and smartness of the assigned vehicle.
Ensure proper recording of trips including kilometers traveled, fuel consumed and cost, and dates of oil changes, all according to established procedures.
Pickup and delivery documents, mails, messages and other office items as required. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by his/her direct supervisor.
QUALIFICATION
Driving experience and familiarity with rural terrain and roads preferred. Valid driving license class C issued by the government of Tanzania Minimum of five (5) years driving experience required.
Successful completion of Secondary School Education.
Ability to perform minor repairs of vehicle. Previous auto mechanic experience helpful.
Demonstrated punctuality, attention. to detail, patience, good humor, flexibility, and overall positive attitude. A neat and professional appearance.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
