Camp Coordinator (Kigoma)

Purpose of the position:

To ensure that all camp management activities are implemented as per partners, 'IN and donor standards and procedures.



Duties & responsibilities:

Ensure that the food and non food Items (NFl) distribution exercises are conducted smoothly. Prepare budgets, periodical reports, work-plans on camp management activities an submit timely. Ensure effective facilitation of camp activities in collaboration with camp committee.

Ensure proper management and control of settlements (land-use management)in the camp.

Maintain and update information on security in consultation with UNHCR, Ministry of Home Affairs, Camp committee and implementing partners. Monitor the adherence to standards and accountability in the use of resources in relation to camp management.



Knowledge skills & abilities required:

Bachelor degree in Economic Development, Community Development, Sociology. Experience of 3 years in the samel related field and 1 year in supervisory level. Preferred: Masters in Economic Development and Sociology.

It is a strict requirement that a World Vision Tanzania candidate for an employment should be ready to read, understand, sign and adhere to World Vision Tanzania Child Protection Policy so as to safeguard children from exploitation, neglect or negligent treatment, sexual and physical abuse, and reduce their risk and vulnerability. The discovery of previous child abuse conducts WILL disqualify a candidate before or after an offer of employment.
