SCOPE: The storekeeper performs duties to support receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock and documenting stores transactions.
Reports to: Procurement Officer
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Receiving stocks and supplies from awarded suppliers and record in appropriate receipt voucher and ledger.
b) Issuing of stock, supplies and assets to user departments/staff and keep the records in appropriate issuer vouchers and ledgers.
c) Inspect all incoming materials and reconciles the with purchase orders tax Invoices and delivery notes.
d) Maintain constant flow of materials and supplies to the end users,
e) Receive and aggregate various requirements from various divisions for categorization procurement plan.
f) Maintain suppliers list.
g) Prepare Monthly stock reports to observe maximum, minimum and re-order level of stocks.
h) Assign codification to the new received assets.
i) Handle the list of unserviceable stores.
j) Maintain cleanliness of stores office and proper layout of stock.
k) Maintain Proper location of stores items.
I) Maintain and update inventory records of each room of the Commission.
m) Able to undertake procurement activities.
n) Should be familiar with PPA No. 21 of 2004 and its regulation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Form IV/VI with national storekeeping certificate or foundation in Procurement and Supplies recognized by Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technician Board.
• Computer literate with knowledge in Ms Excel and Ms. Word.
• Relevant work experience of not less than 3 years in reputable institutions.
