Security Manager

The position holder will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of sound security management systems and structures, and to ensure minimized potential risk of loss to the KWFT Micro finance.

Security Manager

The position holder will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of sound security management systems and structures, and to ensure minimized potential risk of loss to the KWFT Micro finance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Directing and controlling security within the entire institutions;
- Advising the management on the security requirements for the organization and developing sound security policies to safeguard the organization’s assets
- Developing and reviewing the security, and safety policies and procedures
- Manage any internal investigations and act as liaison officer with all other interested parties both Internal and external including police, regulators and auditors:
- Coordinate with appropriate law enforcement agencies to identify and facilitate investigative actions.
- Documentation of transaction from operations, customers, merchants and other financial institutions to make appropriate risk decisions;
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all investigations finding and action plans among other responsibilities.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five years experience, three of which should have been at management level of security and safety functions
- Experience in Corporate Security Management is required
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency In Ms Office applications a must.
- Diploma In Criminal Justice or Security Management and Criminology will be an added advantage.
ICT Security Manager

The position holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of ICT security standard operating procedures and guidelines, in accordance with the Security Policy requirements within the institution.

The position holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of ICT security standard operating procedures and guidelines, in accordance with the Security Policy requirements within the institution.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and coordinate the delivery of ICT security awareness programs.
- Evaluate emerging ICT security technologies and participate in introducing technological changes.
- Periodically assess and identify current and future ICT security vulnerabilities, determine the level of acceptable risk, and implement appropriate security controls to reduce information security risks
- Execution of plans for corrective actions to address any ICT security issues associated with the lack of effective security safeguards.
- Maintaining access rules to data and other IT resources, consistently checking on system logs and providing advice accordingly as well as ensuring adequate computer systems backups are undertaken and ensuring timely and complete recovery from disasters.
- Perform regular security assessments and reviews of ICT processes, information systems and underlying infrastructure to ensure that all ICT security requirements and associated controls are implemented and that they operate as intended, other responsibilities

- A Degree preferably in Computer or Information Systems. Telecommunications, Mathematics
- Certifications such as the CISSR CISA, CISM, CCNP, ITIL.
- At least two years professional experience in ICT Security in a financial institution.
- Extensive practical knowledge of ACL, Microsoft ADS, Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM), IPsec, LDAP and Kerberos protocols, secure shell and Basel.
- Hands on implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). ACL with working knowledge of, IPsec, LDAP and Kerberos protocols, secure shell and Basel.
- Experience in performing ICT Security Risk Management and Assessment
- Technical programming background (i.e. C/C++. Pert, Linux...)
