HR Officer, Commercial Accounts Specialist and Procurement Specialist

A multinational company and one of the region’s leaders in turnkey telecommunication infrastructure solutions and engineering services seek to fill the following positions in its organization:

HR Officer

Job Summary
  • Analyze, plan, manage recruitment programs and the hiring process to ensure that HR service provided meets the needs of company’s business.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compensation and benefits are in line with Company policies and updated Government Regulations;
  • Understand the local employment laws; and
  • Maintain, update and expand the company policies among others.
Knowledge and experience
  • Degree/Diploma in human resources management;
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience;
  • Proficient in HR matters;
  • Strong IT skills.
Commercial Accounts Specialist

Job Description
  • Manage development and sales activities in the whole of the East African Region and ensure an excellent commercial relationship with designated Telecom Operators and Vendors.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Main interface between the Company and Vendors and Operators focusing on structuring the commercial relationship and introducing the Company’s services
  • Produce account goals, strategies and tactics to deliver revenue targets; and
  • Develop marketing and distribution strategy for the different market segments.
Knowledge and experience
  • Bachelors degree in sales, marketing, engineering or related field;
  • Proven sales experience in the Telecom industry, working with mobile operators and Vendors;
  • 2-3 years of B2B sales or business development experience with a proven track record; and
  • Ability to travel on business as required.
Procurement Specialist

Job Description
  • Technical and specialized work in the volume purchasing of equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Involves detailed duties in the requisitioning and purchase of supplies and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receives, examines and processes requisitions
  • Prepares bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials and equipment; and
  • Performs related work as required.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university or a purchasing certification is preferred;
  • A minimum of two (2) years working experience in a general buying environment; and
  • Considerable knowledge of a variety of office, technical, and maintenance supplies and materials, the best sources, and appropriate prices for the procurement of such goods.
