Duties:
Responsible for ensuring an efficient, secure & appropriately controlled financial and administrative environment, and for providing financial services & advice needed to guarantee effective management of financial resources, the successful candidate will be pro-active and will also be experienced in resource management. A member of the senior management team, this post supports the Country Director in ensuring that appropriate financial and output targets are set, that performance against targets is monitored and informs in-year action and future planning; and ensures the integrity of financial and other management information systems in line with corporate standards.
Qualifications, skills and experience
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accountancy or other relevant discipline
• At least three years relevant work experience in reputable, busy and client focused organisations
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience of IT applications and finance systems
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience of HR and resources management
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of delivering high levels of internal and external customer service -
• Excellent written and presentation skills (in Kiswahili and English)
