Applications are sought from individuals who will contribute to the profile of bilingual and multilingual education and research. You will be expected to teach at undergraduate and graduate level, including the supervision of Honours, Masters and PhD students, and engage in research and publication. Providing academic leadership in ensuring quality and innovation in research, teaching and curricula development is essential to this role.
You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, university teaching experience and a strong record of scholarly publications. Success in winning external research grants would be advantageous, as would practical experience in professional communication.
This position is available from February 2011. Current salary range for Senior Lecturers is NZ$79,266 to NZ$106,319 per year and for Associate Professors is NZ$103,527 to NZ$117,941 per year.
