Divisional General Manager in South Africa

CA Global: Africa Positions has a client that is in need of a Divisional General Manager in South Africa. 
Our client would prefer to specifically recruit citizens of South Africa 
Overview: 
Key Accountabilities 

  • Assisting with the achievement of defined goals and targets with regards to general sales, client servicing, PR and marketing initiatives
  • Providing macro assistance to ops co-ordination and implementing initiatives that will enhance the business model
  • Coordination and effective implementation of development initiatives
  • Monitoring of capex expenditure
  • Branch reporting
  • Assistance with quarterly branch performance reviews and annual staffing reviews
  • Assistance with the annual budget planning process
  • Providing guidance to branch management with respect to staffing and general HR issues
  • Assisting with new project initiatives
  • Providing an effective communication and implementation conduit between Admin, Finance, Ops, Development and the branches with regards to improving overall communication and achievement of the best possible integration of all facets of the business
  • Any other aspect of the business as may be required of you upon instruction from the Managing Director that is related specifically to the Africa Division
  • Although based in South Africa, extensive and frequent travel is envisaged for the effective undertaking of the responsibilities attached to this new position

General:
It should be noted that the above list of tasks and responsibilities is not exhaustive, and that your Line Manager is entitled to instruct you at any time to carry out additional duties or responsibilities, which fall reasonably within the ambit of the job description, or in accordance with operational requirements.  
Organisational Position: 
Reports to: Managing Director 
Subordinates: General Managers & PA & Capex Administrator 
Reporting lines are subject to change and such change is at the sole discretion of the Company in line with operational requirement. 
Salary: Negotiable on experience  
Qualifications & Experience 
  • A university degree in Commerce, Communication or Business Management
  • At least 3 years Managerial experience
  • At least 8 years working experience & 3 years experience in running a branch
  • Previous experience in Africa would be advantageous
  • Must be computer literate MS Office
