CommCarrier Ltd is a fast upcoming Licensed Tier 2 Service provider launching its VSAT Internet and Intranet services to east African Market.  
CommCarrier requires Sales Executives to offer its services to Enterprise, Corporates and SME Market Segment and developing Partners, Resellers and Distributors.
 

Profile:
The incumbent should be a
Academic Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a recognized institution
  • An MBA with a biased to Sales and Marketing is an added advantage
Essentials:
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • The person should also be self-motivated and willing to travel all over Africa
  • Fundamental knowledge of telecommucations networks especially internet services
 Experience for Corporate Sales:
The candidate should have the minimum of 5 years of experience preferably with VSAT Operator or ISP providing solutions to Enterprise customers 
Experience for Channel Sales:
The candidate should have the minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience preferably with VSAT Operator or ISP appointing Distributors, Resellers and Sales Partners and selling solutions through Channel.

Activities important for success include:
  • relationship building;
  • researching the market and related products;
  • Presenting the service in a structured professional way face to face. 
Activities for sales executives for Corporate Sales include:
  • listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
  • maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails;
  • Making minimum calls to generate Funnel and Prospects.
  • arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
  • acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
  • negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
  • gathering market and customer information;
  • representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  • negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
  • challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
  • advising customers on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
  • liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders;
  • recording sales and order information and sending copies for further processing;
  • Completing all the documentation and getting the agreements signed with customers.
  • reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed assigned targets;
  • gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
  • making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with Proposals/quotations;
  • feeding future buying trends back to employers;
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
Activities for sales executives for Channel Sales include:
  • Monitoring dealers / sales partners’ performance on a regular basis and providing them strategic inputs to increase the market share and break through solutions in case of crisis.
  • Identifying and appointing dealers and sales partners; inculcating them into companies culture and philosophy: training & providing them due support.
  • Establishing strategic alliances / tie-ups with financially strong and reliable channel partners, resulting in deeper market penetration and profitability.
  • checking quantities of goods on display and in stock with partners;
  • representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  • advising partners on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
  • reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed assigned targets;
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
