8th Call for Application for the Youth to Youth Entrepreneurship Fund

Please see the details attached and encourage youth groups/youth CBOs to at least take this first step. You will note that this is a fairly simple call/request that seeks to see ideas that can be supported.  Once the ideas are submitted, we will invite proposals and also provide mentoring to enable the youth group applicants develop those ideas to “profitability”.

We are pleased to announce our 8th Call for Application for the Youth to Youth Entrepreneurship Fund,  a competitive grant scheme for youth-led organizations proposing innovative project ideas on how to contribute to increasing entrepreneurship and employment amongst their peers. This competition is open to all youth-led organizations in Kenya. Grants of US$ 5,000 to 50,000 (approximately KShs 375,000 and KShs 3,750,000) will be awarded to the most innovative proposals chosen by the Grant Approval Panel.

·         Please read carefully through the attached Information Note before filling out this form. The Information Note explains the eligibility criteria, selection process and other important details.
·         Any incomplete applications will be ignored or automatically disqualified.
·         Those who recently submitted applications to KCDF in response to the 7th call for proposals need not re-apply.

Please e-mail your completed proposal to vijana@kcdfoundation.org by 27th August 2010. Proposals will only be accepted as a PDF or Microsoft Word Document in English, via e-mail or in hard. All applications must be signed or bare the names of authorized persons to submit on behalf of your organization. If you chose to send hard copies, the hard copies should be sent by courier
