QUALIFICATIONS:
• SSC Eng/BTech Degree. Will consider S4 Diploma with sufficient experience
• Must have at least 2 years wireless products experience
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be willing to travel for long periods of time away from base
• Must be willing to work non-standard work hours if required
• Must have 2-3 years wireless network equipment experience
• Must be an expert on at least some of the following: BSS, UTRAN, COMA, WiMax and LTE.
• Must have expert experience of wireless product design and dimensioning
• Strong knowledge of other peripheral products such as core network and transmission equipment
• Expert knowledge of wireless interfaces and protocols
• Expert performance analysis capability of signaling interfaces
• Good adaptability and quick learner of new technical knowledge is essential
• Good Communication skills and multi-cultural environment experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and written in English
• Ability of project management, communication, and coordination
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• devise and implement plans for network technical service support and project delivery, provide standard and professional service for users, and ensure customer problems are solved timely
• optimize localized maintenance processes and project delivery processes
• Maintain equipment running quality, KPls and provide equipment maintenance
• Provide high level support to internal engineers and to customers
• Be the high level technical interface with the customers
• Complete routine maintenance
• Wireless network planning, dimensioning and optimisation
• Do upgrades and migrations
• Provide support for pre-sales and post-sales marketing
• Compile BOQs for new and expansion projects
• Provide training to internal staff and customers. Mentor staff.
• Roll out and complete acceptance of new wireless network products
• Integrate wireless networks into any existing core network products
• Manage a team of wireless engineers. Act as mentor and trainer for staff and customers
• Write technical reports, KPI reports, maintenance reports etc
• Be on standby 24/7 for remote support as required
• Responsible for attaining and exceeding KPI and quality requirements as per SLA
• Be the technical manager and assist project managers for any maintenance or project rollout exercises.
