Common Characteristics
To achieve the specified objectives, GTZ expects the Firm of Consultants to second an international or regional long-term expert (up to 28 person-months) as team leader.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate degree in economics (or comparable specialization)
- well-founded expertise in the field of regional economic integration (at least 10 years)
- well-founded expertise in trade in services (at least five years)
- experience with project management (at least 10 years)
- high capacity for teamwork
- high qualities and experience as political advisor (at least ten years)
- experience in capacity development and training (at least five years)
- regional experience in Southern Africa (at least 5 years)
- good spoken and written English. At least skills in one of the following languages: German, French or Portuguese are essential.
- experience in applying GTZ's management model for sustainable development “Capacity WORKS”
