A franchised Motor Company is looking for Mechanics who meet the following requirements;
Key Result Areas
- Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on vehicles with electronic control systems and electrical components using PC diagnostics.
- Diagnose, analyse and rectify various types of faults, including engines, gear boxes and retarders, brakes systems, pneumatic and electric components.
- Diagnose, check and set the mechanical systems/components.
- Provide technical advice to colleagues.
- Ensure that customers requirements and expectations are met, through the provision of quality workmanship.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Diploma in auto-motive engineering (Heavy Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification).
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with least supervision.
- Computer literate.
- Five (5) years work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.
