Position: Installs Project Manager
He or She is assigned with the responsibility of coordinating both internal and external installations projects.
These are:
- External projects, which relate to the management of a project that is aimed at the delivery of our solutions to our end user clients.
- Internal projects, which relate to the management of a project that is aimed at the delivery of our solutions for internal usage.
Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Process sales orders.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project coordination.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Facilitates internal team and internal project scoping session effectively.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Effectively applies Project methodology and enforces project standards.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Liaise with 3rd party providers on surveys and schedule resource for installation.
- Schedule and follow-up on procurements of hardware that might be required for any given project depending on the solution proposed and signed off.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to manage projects from inception to successful implementation.
- Able to foster working relationships with the team and client departments.
- Knowledge of business functions and understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives.
- Knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies, and support tools
- Be familiar with Microsoft Project
- Stay updated with Project-related standards and certifications (Example PMP)
- knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and techniques
- Will be required to work after hours and weekends, project dependent.
Qualifications and experience
- 2-3 Year experience.
- Bachelor degree and/or related Project Management qualifications.
