VACANT POSITION – IT Officer

YTTC, Across YEI, South Sudan

Across is looking for suitable qualified Sudanese male or female to join the organisation at Yei Teacher Training College in the following capacity of IT Officer. 
Key Functions:

1. Teach computer lessons
2. Provide the necessary training needed to build the capacity of the staff in various computer packages
3. Responsible for the procurement of computers and related equipment for the college in consultation with the Finance and Logistic departments.
4. Develop and maintain appropriate data management systems for all departments of the college.
5. Ensure monthly update of the college website.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & skills

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication and Networks,
• At least 2 years relevant experience
• Committed Christian
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken- in English required
• Willingness to live under challenging conditions and the necessary restrictions that this entails.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in order to be available in the evenings / weekends
• Trustworthy, honesty, confidentiality.
• Able to work under pressure and under short deadlines
• Flexible and with initiative
