The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Checking and correcting editorial copy for facts, accuracy, taste, libel, house- style, language use, clarity, objectivity;
- Subbing copy to fit without distorting facts or dispensing with salient points;
- Selecting and cropping pictures and editing captions;
- Designing editorial pages as directed.
- A university degree or;
- A post-graduate diploma in Journalism;
- 3 to 4 years working experience either as a sub-editor or a reporter;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and cope with pressure and tight deadlines;
- Excellent command of English or Kiswahili.

- Executing news assignments;
- Conducting interviews and writing appealing features;
- Thoroughly researching news stories and writing copy that is factually correct, libel-free and topical; and
- Must have a network of news contacts.
- A degree in journalism or similar qualification;
- Three years journalistic experience; and
- Proven investigative tract record.
