Assistant Accountant – Nation Media Group

Nation Media Group Ltd. the leading Multi-Media organization in East & Central Africa is growing and wishes to recruit a suitably qualified Assistant Accountant to work within our finance department. Key responsibilities of the job:

• Timely and accurate receipting of cash and cheques from clients;
• Reconciliation of daily collections and ensuring revenue completeness;
• Daily banking of collections in line with company policies;
• Prompt and accurate updating of customers’ accounts and issuing of monthly statements.
• Reconciliation of customer accounts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• Business-related University degree or CPA(K)
• Must have demonstrable hands-on experience with an accounting system;
• Knowledge of SAP or DTI publishing system will be an added advantage;
• 1 to 2 years work experience.
