Duties: Executing the station’s vision • co-ordinating staff • representing MFM and liaising with ICASA; the BCCSA; NAB; NCRF; the MFM Governing Body; Stellenbosch University; etc. • budget management • co-ordinating programming and presenters • HR and admin management.
Requirements: A tertiary qualification • sound knowledge of the radio industry (community radio) • management experience in broadcasting • business acumen • people skills • understanding different media types • experience in financial systems and budgeting • radio programming knowledge • proficiency in Afrikaans and English • computer skills • proficiency in radio related computer programs.
