DATA OFFICER
6 MONTHS CONTRACT 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Data Manager and working closely with the Gender team, the Data Officer will have primary responsibility for the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities to measure the overall WJEI (Women’s Justice and Empowerment Initiative) project performance against goals and objectives. S/he will be responsible for development of GBVIMS for the project and coordination of data collection, processing and reporting. The incumbent will ensure that appropriate, data collection tools are available in the supported facilities and Implementing Partners. S/he will facilitate orientation and training of partners and build on the management of data. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Degree in Information technology, statistics, public health or equivalent
  • Three years relevant work experience in an international NGO preferably in the health sector.
  • Experience in database maintenance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Training and capacity building skills
  • Knowledge of PEPFAR reporting requirements will be an added advantage
