Reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise Systems Development, the job holder will develop and provide 3rd line support of Oracle/SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application and bespoke Oracle/SAP interfaces and software components.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise Systems Development, the job holder will develop and provide 3rd line support of Oracle/SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application and bespoke Oracle/SAP interfaces and software components.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage internal customers by ensuring effective communication with the Helpdesk and application support analysts. And perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents;
- Conduct business user requirements analysis and specification;
- Specify computer system requirements for the solution of complex business problems and formulate designs for their solutions;
- Perform the necessary technical design and development functionality to ensure that business application systems are effectively developed and implemented;
- Specify computer system requirements for the solution of complex business problems and formulates designs for their solutions.
- Play a lead role in software design and programming, capture business applications information needs and mapping of the same to the software and /or database components;
- Support new and existing application(s) development by creating modifications and enhancements for Oracle/SAP ERP applications and perform high level system design;
- Review and provide input on Oracle/SAP ERP design approach, performance and base functionality and ensure integration of designs across the team;
- Research and provide input on design approach, performance and base functionality improvements for various procedures and applications;
- Appropriately monitor interfaces to Oracle/SAP ERP;
- Provide training and support on Oracle/SAP ERP modules and development tools;
- Interpret technical manuals for the Oracle/SAP ERP system and assist in creating/update Oracle TAR's or SAP Support requests;
Minimum requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or technical related field;
- 5 years experience in Oracle/SAP ERP applications development;
- Experience with Microsoft development tools e.g. Java, VB, Fox Pro, Visual FoxPro;
- Experience with RDMS preferably MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and Informix;
- Experience in data warehousing, business analysis, knowledge in Business Systems modeling and data retrieval;
- Experience in processes and procedures management will be an added advantage;
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and
- Highly analytical individual;
