CHF International is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Project Director to lead a proposed 3-year, USAID-funded project focused on youth workforce development in Kenya.

The Project Director will provide the primary leadership and oversight to all programmatic activities to create new employment activities for youth through employment market linkages.
Duties will include:

• Overall supervision of and responsibility for program implementation;
• budget execution;
• compliance with donor agreements;
• monitoring and evaluation;
• liaise with CHF HQ;
• staff oversight and supervision;
• technical direction to program staff; effective communication with the donor, host government and other stakeholders; and
• responsibility for security protocols.

The Project Director will be based in Mombasa.
Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred in business, business management, economics, or a related subject. Bachelor's degree plus equivalent years of relevant experience accepted.
• 5+ years of experience managing youth engagement projects.
• Experience working with USAID-funded projects required.
• Experience providing leadership on youth workforce development projects.
• Private sector business experience preferred.
• Experience in Kenya or East Africa preferred.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, required. Abilities in Swahili preferred.
• Kenyan Nationals are highly encouraged to apply.
