Reporting to the Regional Manager, Mombasa, the primary role of this position is revenue generation and profit maximization through our wide range of products and services.

- Generating and managing new revenue by identifying and winning suitable target customers
- Proactively identifying ways to help clients reach a buying decision through constant knowledgeable and informed communication regarding Africa Online’s products, services and direction
- Up selling existing customer products and identifying new opportunities within existing clients.
- Preparing professional proposals for the customers and ensuring that they are provided to a high standard service.
- Working as part of the sales team to identify and package new sales Propositions.
- Participating in the company’s marketing events as assigned from time to time.
- Work with the supervisor to provide timely feedback on marketing and promotion activities
- Providing timely intelligence from the market place
- Working with Customer Service team to ensure quality and timeliness of Help Desk services and deliverables to new customers
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- A relevant degree or Diploma in ICT, sales and marketing.
- A professional qualification in sales – CIM, other sales & marketing diploma
- At least 1-2 years experience
- Basic understanding of the Internet Infrastructure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong problem analysis, judgment and decision making skills.
- Ability to plan activities, meet assigned schedules and achieve planned targets/objectives.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Enthusiastic, self‐motivated, ‘can do' attitude – very goal orientated.
