The Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following position:
Head Chef
The Head Chef will be responsible for efficient and effective management of the Kitchen. S/he will be responsible for food production, preparation of menus, recipes and cost cards. S/he will also be charged with ensuring adequate supply of stocks, monitoring expenditure, training and orientation of staff.
Applicants for the position must have a Diploma/Certificate in Food Production with a minimum of four (4) years in a similar position. S/he should have a good understanding of HACCP Hygiene Management System and IS0 22000 Quality Management System. S/he should be self motivated and a team player with excellent communication and customer care skills.
