  • coordinating staff training programmes for Land Registration personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
  • coordinating and directing major activities in the specific field of urban or regional planning;
  • coordinating physical economic planning in conjunction with the Ministry of Planning and National Development;
  • ensuring production of topographical information maps and aerial photographs;
  • guiding on initiation of policy, strategies, standards and programmes;
  • directing and supervising research;
  • liaising with other institutions on research planning activities and physical planning policy related surveys;
  • controlling and coordinating all relevant planning activities within a province and taking responsibility for performance of both professional and administrative staff in the province or a section at the Department headquarters;
  • being a Secretary to the liaison Committee of the Municipality housing the Provincial Headquarters;
  • overseeing the enforcement of resolutions of the Committee;
  • ensuring proper management control; and
  • being responsible for supervising, controlling and coordinating all relevant planning activities.
