Reporting to the Manager ICT, the Documentalist /Archivist will be responsible for the Management of all documents of the Bank.
The Documentalist /Archivist will develop a classification system; undertake records appraisal; draft records retention and disposal schedules; develop a back-up system for documents; liaise with Manager ICT for electronic back-up of documents and ensure completeness and integrity of all files and documents.
Develop and collate material for the Bank’s archives. The contract will be for a period of three months and is tenable in Kampala.
Minimum Qualification and Experience

Minimum Qualification and Experience
- A Bachelors Degree in Information Science and Records Management from a recognized university;
- A Diploma in Records/information Management, Library/Information Science from a recognized University; and
- A minimum of five (5) years in documentation/archival services.

- Have substantial practical hands-on experience, ability to innovate and translate theory into practice and to provide sustainable solutions;
- Have a track record of performing well beyond expectations. .
- Flexibility and willingness to travel, work and to relocate within East Africa;
- Diligent and able to work with minimum supervision in multinational and multicultural environment;
- Ability and willingness to work long hours and deliver on assignments within short deadlines and to perform other duties that may be assigned to him/her;
