Electrical Engineer and Business Development Executive at Libros Engineering Services

Electrical Engineer:

We are looking for young and ambitious graduate electrical engineer with at least 2 years exposure in one or more of the following fields:
  1. Renewable energy particularly in Geothermal, solar and wind grid and off grid power generation
  2. Energy Audits in factories and commercial and office buildings
  3. Power back up systems such as inverters, UPS, Battery sizing and installations ,and diesel generator installations
  4. Power station instrumentation and controls.

In addition to the technical skills he should be capable of dealing with clients and Sales team to aid in closing selling leads. Should be conversant with MS Office products as well as MS Project and AUTOCAD

The company will provide internal training on the products and selling skills.

Competitive Basic salary shall be provided

Job Description

Main Purpose: The position will have the primary and immediate responsibility for growing the sales and Services, maximizing financial returns through efficient and effective marketing and delivery of products. The person will be expected to work closely with the engineers to close deals.

Responsibilities

Working within sales & marketing team you will be responsible for building and developing a successful sales & marketing pipeline. This is a new business role and you will be expected to generate leads by participating in a number of sales & marketing activities:
  • Calling prospects
  • Networking
  • Attending exhibitions/seminars
  • Referrals from clients
In addition you should have a strong and growing telemarketing approach which will assist towards making sales appointments.

Duties
  1. Conduct day to day sales & marketing activities.
  2. Own revenue targets and deliverables
  3. Identify and qualify prospects within this target market.
  4. Perform presentation and customer sensitization activities
  5. Prepare proposals and tender documents.
  6. Identify Customer requirement: meet customer requirement with minimum hassle.
  7. Develop and build a client base utilizing proven sales techniques e.g. prospecting, cold calling, lead generation and probing.
  8. Create a large base of customers
  9. Work closely with engineers to ensure the delivery of quality service
